Crescenda Announces Sale of Lighting Plastics of Minnesota 

Minneapolis, Minnesota – Crescenda Merger & Acquisition Advisors (Crescenda) announced today that its client, Lighting Plastics of Minnesota, Inc. (LPM) was acquired by Talos Elemental Corp., a Minnesota corporation. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1982, LPM has been designing, manufacturing and distributing high quality lighting products to a list of regional, national and international blue chip customers. Located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, they specialize in providing cost-effective retrofit lighting solutions for industrial and commercial buildings including hotels, schools, universities, shopping malls, and government offices.

Former LPM CEO, David Kohn said, "After 40 great years running Lighting Plastics and working with so many wonderful people, it is time to retire." David added, "I was able to find an excellent buyer that will continue the operation and provide good opportunities to this exceptional group of employees. Talos is a partnership of three individuals who are highly talented and have the resources to continue building on the success I was able to achieve."

This acquisition is consistent with Talos’ plan for a long-term investment strategy and approach to value creation, which will build upon this first acquisition of Lighting Plastics of Minnesota.
